Fall is the perfect time to get outside with your pups! The weather has cooled off so overheating is not an issue anymore. As well as no overheating, it's not the frigid cold of winter yet either so the fall is just about perfect doggie weather!
In the cool of fall you do need to keep an eye out for quick weather changes. Be prepared for rain or snow, and even in the opposite direction be prepared for the weather to warm significantly as the day progresses. Always bring water and if you have a dog that can get chilly make sure to bring along a rain coat for them!
Fall is also a great time to start looking into dog sports! Since the weather is cool, if you've never tried Frisbee or flyball now may be the time! Get out and try something new with your pet this fall. You may find something you both truly enjoy!
